Awards & Honors

Farrimond's exceptional talent allowed her to receive an extensive amount of recognition. After securing a starting position her freshman year ('01), she managed to clinch First-Team All-SCAC honors, an All-South Region selection, was tabbed South Region Freshman-of-the-Year, and Second Team All-American. The honors and awards did not slow after Farrimond's freshman year. The next three seasons, she received First Team All-American and First Team All-SCAC honors each year. She also earned SCAC Player-of-the-Year her sophomore ('02) and senior ('04) season, and was only the third player in conference history to win the award twice. Another addition to Farrimond's honors would be her induction to Trinity University's Hall of Fame. Her induction into the Hall of Fame was in 2015. Her head Coach, Julie Jenkins, served as part of the Hall of Fame committee. Jenkins nominated Farrimond stating, “It was not a hard sell with her many accolades. She is the only four-time All-American in TUVB history, at the time she was the fifth player in NCAA DIII history to be a four-time All-American; she led Trinity to four SCAC Championships, four trips to the NCAA Tournament, and a third-place finish at Nationals, and she still holds two records to this day.” It is not difficult to tell Farrimond was a central component to the success of the team, and the Hall of Fame committee confirms it.
