Post Trinity

Throughout his career at Trinity between the years 1960 – 1963, Chuck compiled a 48-2 record in singles. He earned All-American status in 1963 and graduated in 1964 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Trinity inducted him into its Hall of Fame in 1999. He was ranked in the world’s Top Five between 1961 and 1964 and the United States Top Ten for seven consecutive years between 1960-1966.

Upon graduating from Trinity after his senior year, Chuck made the difficult decision to discontinue tennis and instead joined a New York City brokerage firm mainly due to the fact that no prize money was available for tennis players at the time Chuck played.

Chuck McKinley ultimately put Trinity on the map as he laid the foundation for the program. He initiated the winning tradition at Trinity and his imprint and footsteps have left a mark on Trinity tennis that will last forever.
