Introduction

For the Trinity University men’s baseball team, 2016 was the year: a moment “twenty years in the making". An award-winning head coach; three senior starters destined for the professional leagues; an outstanding team dynamic; and one majorly upsetting series waiting down the line, all set to pave the path to a record-breaking victory. The year 2016 had all the makings of a Trinity championship team right from the start.
