The last thing to talk about when looking at Trinity's division history is how it has impacted the athletic culture as a whole. As mentioned before the change to Division III drastically affecte the fanbase at Trinity which presumably led to necesary aesthetic changes as well. As a football alumni myself I can vouge for the fact that there is a lack in support for sports on the campus, especially football, that has a lot to do with who we play and how the team plays. To prove this the two images selected display the types of crowds you may see at a Trinity Football Game. The one is a fairly packed house for opening day, while the other is a more typical representation as the season goes on. Overall, Trinity is still feeling the affects of switching over to Division III. However, the university is making a lot of changes in the near future to get the school more involved and put it back on top both athletically and academically.
