The 2015 Trinity Soccer team celebrate defeating Colorado College 1-0 in the SCAC Championship final.

The modern day Trinity Soccer team has clear influences, whether deliberate or not, from the foundations of teh 1959 & 1968 teams. Currently, 7 different foreign nations are represented on the team, with that number having been as high as 10 a few seasons back. The pride felt by current players pulling on a shirt emblazoned with the Tower logo and Championship star remains just as strong as that felt by the players of the 1960s. The team of 2016 can hark back to that of 1968 and see that they still hold many similar values, with a deep love of the game being the central one.

The Trinity Soccer team of 2016 is a prodigiously talented group of young men. Following on from three successive appearances in the Elite 8 of the NCAA Tournament, the Tigers will set out in August to win their program's 2nd ever National Championship. Led by Senior Captain Paco Vasquez, Trinity will compete in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) and hope to earn a bid to the NCAA Tournament in November. The future for Trinity is bright. The past will never be forgotten.
