Introduction
What is the reason for the implication of Title IX and why do people care ? Title IX was a monumental time in history for women. It was the best thing that could have happened since women’s suffrage. Title IX gave women a chance, a chance to prove themselves to all the people who thought that a woman's sole job was to be a homemaker. It has paved the way for so many women including myself, to be able to be treated as equals in athletics and beyond. Without Title IX women would not be on the forefront of society like they are today. Finances played a significant role in the implementation of Title IX, and for the sake of theis project I will be discussing the injustice of those finances that have plagued our society through the implementation of Title IX at Trinity and beyond.
