What has Title IX done for athletics?

     At Trinity, as well as athletics around the country Title IX provided opportunity and equalization for women. While not all people agreed with it, many schools have adapted just fine and have even built programs where their women’s teams surpass their men’s teams. This law above all else gave women a chance to be great, to soar above their potential and make a name for themselves. This is relatable because even though there still may be injustices within funding and beyond, but female athletes have overcame those obstacles and will continue to prevail for years to come.Title IX has been a monumental game changer and will forever leave an imprint on the history of athletics.
