This is a photograph of Lee Roy next to a poem about Trinity University, describing how his spirit, power, and tenacity represent Trinity University students, faculty, and alumni as a whole. However, the irony behind this picture is that Lee Roy looks extremely calm, tired, and relaxed.

This picture of Lee Roy illustrates how massive and sharp his teeth were, in addition to how tired he was at the time! The picture also illustrates how massive Lee Roy's jaw was, as the jaw looks bigger than the girl's head in the background of the picture.

This picture of Lee Roy demostrates how massive he was. This image was taken at the San Antonio Zoo. He would walk around in his habitat showing how dominant yet lazy he was.

This is an image of a script a news reporter wrote on the day that Lee Roy arrived to San Antonio from Los Angeles. The writer of the script is unknown but this script helps describe not only how bug Lee Roy was, but how much he was worth and the events that took place the day Lee Roy arrived.

This is a picture of the student section during a game in 1955 when Lee Roy attended the games live. It shows how much school spirit the majestic animal brought to Trinity University. We can only assume the photographer worker for the school's newspaper The Trinatonian.

This is a picture of a cover on LIFE magize that released on September 28th, 1953. In this article the arrival of Lee Roy was explained and it shows how L. R. Pletz (the man who donated the tiger to Trinity) twisted Lee Roy's tail in order to get a reaction from the public as Dr. James Laurie (President at the time) watched.
