Tommy Crumrine - Centerfield and First Base

Bill Daffin may have been the star of the Trinity batting order, but he was supported by another elite slugger, Tommy Crumrine. Crumrine played a few different positions, namely centerfield and first base. He consistently hit for a high batting average, and posted an astounding .405 batting average in 1972, winning him the “Big Stick” trophy as the top hitter in the NCAA’s District 6. Crumrine consistently got on base, tallying high run totals each year as a Tiger. His positionally versatility also helped the Tigers work different players into the lineup.
