Jeffries “was a three-time All-American from 1967-1969. The 1969 team advanced to the NCAA playoffs. He also was a four-time All-Southland Conference selection, from 1966-1969. Jeffries is Trinity's all-time leading scorer, with 2,454 points, a 25.3 point-per-game average.”(Trinity). He still currently holds the scoring record.

I think off the court life was a little different for Jefferies because he was only 15 years old when he first went to Trinity, but he said he did not have too many problems with racism as mentioned before. He did say the minorities gave him more trouble than most of the white people. His student life mainly just consisted of basketball and studies. He earned the Bachelor of Science in health and physical education over his four years.
