Title IX Today

Today Title IX is taken extremely seriously across the United States, especially with respect to athletics. It is heavily enforced and it is hard to manipulate in any ways that result in inequitable opportunities or access to sports between genders. 

At Trinity University specifically, compliance with Title IX is a very important matter. The number of male and female sports are not only extremely equitable, but the funding for the sports and the coaching staff available is equitable, too. Often schools find it difficult to comply with Title IX because of a large football roster, coaching staff and budget. However, despite football having access to what they need, other sports at Trinity are given a relatively balanced budget.
