Reflection

What did you enjoy about this project?

I really enjoyed interviewing Mr. Costley. Through this project i was able to find out about one of the best runningbacks to ever come through Trinity and meet him in person. The process of interviewing him and having to research his career here was something new to me and an overall, fun experience.

What surprised you about this project?

It surprised me how hard it is to find information about individual people before 1985. With my only source of information regarding Mr. Costley being his stats and career here at Trinity, it was hard for me to find him.

What was the most challenging aspect of the project, and how did you manage it?

The most challenging aspect of this project was finding other people to interview about Mr. Costley. it was hard enough finding him, but then to find others who had experiences with him as well was tough. I had to determine a topic that would create a broader group of prospective people to be interviewed.

If you could start over, what would you do differently?

I would try to get in touch with Mr. Costley much earlier so that I could base the rest of my research off of my interview with him.

What did you learn about history and/or the historical process through this project?

Recording history is extremely important in maintining stories through time and not letting them fall through the cracks.

What did you learn through this project that can be applied to life outside the classroom?

Through this project I learned how important time management is and scheduling things out before deadlines have approached.
