The first few years of Coach Mohr’s tenure were rough but Coach Mohr continued to stick to his plan. He made slogans to push his players. The Trinitonian revealed that saying “For the past three seasons, the men’s football team has been in a state of transition. Team slogans such as ‘Whatever it Takes’ and ‘Reach for Respect’ understood the team’s efforts to develop new plays, new attitudes and a renewed sense of focus and drive. But this year’s theme-’Fourth Quarter Our Quarter’-was nothing short of prophetic." (Perseverance Pays Off)  "After three solid years of change and development under Coach Steve Mohr, the team finally started to see some rewards for their hard work.” (Perseverance Pays Off) Having good slogans may not exactly win you games but they can definitely motivate someone to work harder and go the extra mile. Working out in the offseason can get grueling sometimes and one can fall into a trance and just go through the motions so slogans were a way Coach Mohr tried to continue to motivate his players to work for the overall goal of winning a championship.
