Reflection

  1. What did you enjoy about this project? I enjoyed looking back into history and learning about the Trinity football program. The ups and downs that the team went through in the past not only affects the program, but the campus as well. Learning about Trinity football's past has made me realize how big tradition is for the program.
  2. What surprised you about this project? The Omeka site. I did not know we were going to put it all onto a sit elike this where all of our fidnings are all together. I thought it would be different.
  3. What was the most challenging aspect of the project, and how did you manage it? I would say the most difficult part of the project was the very beginning. Not knowing where to start was the hardest for me. But once I found the road I needed to be on, things got better.
  4. If you could start over, what would you do differently? I would probably interview someone else, either Coach Mohr or someone that played during the early 1990's when the new tradition was being built.
  5. What did you learn about history and/or the historical process through this project? I learned that history actually repeats itself. It was amazing that what Coach Mohr went through back then is identical to what Coach Urban is going through right now.
  6. What did you learn through this project that can be applied to life outside the classroom? I learned that dedication and hardowkr can get you a long way. Always be a step ahead because if you are not on your game, then someone else will be. And they will take your spot and run away with it. Just like Trinity took over the SCAC in 1993 and ran away with it for over a decade.
