Chuck McKinley decides to attend Trinity University

Those that know about Chuck McKinley know that he was an extremely impressive tennis player. His most notable accomplishments include amassing a singles record of 48-2 while at Trinity, winning the Wimbledon Singles Championship in 1963 and being the number 1 player in the world.

But his successes do not stop there. He was also a member of the U.S. Davis Cup Team six times, from 1960-1965, including the championship team of 1963. McKinley was inducted into the ITA Men's Tennis Collegiate Hall of Fame and the International Tennis Hall of Fame. He won the most singles champions for a Trinity University athlete in one season, played at the Pan-American Invitational singles championship three consecutive years, and was the first Trinity player to be named All-American in 1963.

Chuck's accolades during his time at Trinity speak for themselves. He was incredibly hard working and his tennis statistics exemplify that.
