Chuck McKinley won the Wimbledon Singles Championship in 1963, defeating Fred Stolle of Australia in three sets (9-7, 6-1, 6-4).  During his historic run in 1963, Chuck McKinley went a perfect 21-0, never surrendering a single set.  In the seven rounds of Wimbledon, Chuck defeated Cliff Drysdale of Russia (6-3, 6-3, 8-6), Alan Lane of Australia (7-5, 6-4, 8-6), Arthur Ashe Jr. of the United States (6-3, 6-2, 6-2), Jaidip Mukherjia of India (6-3, 8-6, 6-3), Bobby Wilson of Great Britain (8-6, 6-4, 6-2), and Wilhelm Bungert of Germany (6-2, 6-4, 8-6), in rounds one through six, respectively.
