Simon Thompson All-American Leading the Tigers

In 2005 Simon Thompson was entering his senior season. Having already been named an All-American after his 2003 campaign it came as no surprise that he was once again leading the tigers in their phenonenal season 2005. This clipping from the Trinitonian validates, an already illustrius college career, and showed Thompson to be a proven winner before the 2004-2005 season even began. With a 4th place finish in the Fall of 2004 at Southwestern University's home tournament, Thompson was off to the races in a historic season.

Thompson's resume as a proven winner in Collegiate and Amateur golf on top of his acolades as an All-American and two time First Team All-Conference is argueably Carla's best recruit and argueably Trinity's best player all time. 

All of this going into SCAC conference championships set up the potential for a storybook ending for Thompson's collegiate career.
