The Men's Program Today

Callum Squires, a current Trinity Player, who played the last four years discussed the impact Coach McGinlay has had on him as well as his success as a coach. He said: 

He has basically revolutionized soccer here. His record at this level in terms of length and winning percentage is almost unparalleled. He is a maverick, big personality and big on passion. He cares deeply about the people his players are and wants them to achieve success on and off the field. He's been a huge influence on me personally in my life, he was a deciding factor in me coming to Texas and has given me every opportunity to succeed whilst at Trinity. The field is named after him and that is thoroughly deserved. I truly appreciate the man he is and the coach he has been to me. His sense of humor is wicked but always with a genuine love of life, people and the game of football. (Squires, 2017)
