Reflection

What did you enjoy about this project?

I enjoyed a lot of things about this project, however the one that I enjoyed the most was definitely getting to interview the alumni. That was my favorite part because not only was I able to make connections, but I was also able to see another side of Trinity that I have not exposed to as much before. Just listening to their stories allowed me to see that things at Trinity have definitely improved throughout the years, but there is still a lot to go.

What surprised you about this project?

The thing that surprised me about the project is the fact that we had to get interviews for the project. I have been interviewed before, but I have never been the one who is running the interview. That took some good planning and lots of practice beforehand because I had a feeling it was not going to go well. Thankfully it all went well and there were no problems.

What was the most challenging aspect of the project, and how did you manage it?

After the running the interview challenge, the next most challenging aspect of the project was trying to find information on the athletes themselves. It was a long process because there is not a lot of information easily available so that took digging through the online and paper archives so that I could find names and stories to write about. From there I had to make all of that fit together coherently and honestly, it was a great experience.
