“It's just possible that this great sport of rugby will replace football on the American college scene.”

Rugby in the United States has always been biggest on the college scene. Trinity is no exception. Starting in the late 60s and continuing on through the 80s and then to the present, Trinity Rugby has been a unique institution on Trinity's campus. Consistently made up of foreigners and hard-headed Americans, Trinity Rugby has gone through multiple iterations, as a serious institution and as something done for fun by students. This exhibit will examine Trinity Rugby's multiple rises and falls throughout history starting from the 60s until the present, and prompt discussion about some of the common themes shared by the multiple teams.
