The First Fall From Campus

Unfortunately, possibly due to the concentration of upperclassmen in the club, or perhaps other reasons, the first generation of Fellowship of Christian Athletes, sparked by Don McClanen’s national movement, eventually dwindled. However, around 1975, there was an additional group, known as the Christian Athletes Association, on Trinity’s campus that claimed to have the same goals as FCA. This coalition eventually failed and left Trinity without a Christian sports outlet for the next five years.
