Paul "Duck" Stanley

During this era, Paul "Duck" Stanley was one of the best pitchers on the team, as he went 12-1 during the historic 1972 season (Hermes, 2018). According to a former teammate of his, Stanley was not the hardest pitcher, but had great command of his pitches which had a lot of movement (Batista, 2018). In terms of accolades, he was the Trinity baseball career leader in single season wins (12), earned run average (1.92), strikeouts (342) and innings pitched (319) (Paul "Duck" Stanley, n.d). While he still holds the innings and earned run average category, he is second behind Ben Klimesh (professional player) in the other two (Pitching Records, 2018).
