Results in 1993

In addition to the two interviews, I also reviewed old articles of the Trinitonian in the Special Collections section of Coates Library.  When looking through the old issues of the Trinitonian, I found an article that accurately summarized a large portion of what I have discovered through interviews.  The headline was “Baseball Team Struggles Through Six-Loss Week, Anticipates Playing Their First Division III Opponent.” (Trinitonian, 1993) This article described how Trinity Baseball began the season 0-12 and was beaten handily in every single game.  As the article pointed out, however, they had only played other Texas schools that offered scholarships to baseball players.
