Introduction

The successful combination of academics and athletics at Trinity University has not always been the norm.  At least from an athletics perspective, things were very different back in 1993 for the Trinity University baseball team.  

I am currently a baseball player at Trinity University, and as such, I was intersted in the history of Trinity Baseball.  I was interested in the process it took to become the powerhouse it is today.  I focused my research on the baseball team in 1993 when Trinity was the only Division III school in Texas.  As you would imagine, this made life as a Trinity Baseball player tough in a number of ways.  This impact stretched from the playing field to the classroom.
